Save MÓN La Bassa – 400 Lives Are at Risk
There are moments when the world demands that we act — now.

MÓN La Bassa, a sanctuary we at Positive Global Change are deeply proud to support, is facing an unbearable reality:
More than 400 rescued animals — donkeys, pigs, cows, dogs, goats, sheep, and many others — are in danger of losing the only safe home they’ve ever known.
Because MÓN La Bassa is not yet a registered foundation, they cannot issue donation receipts. This means that the companies and institutions who usually donate are unable to help right now.
💔 Without immediate financial support, there will be no way to feed or care for these animals.
💔 If help does not come, many of them will have to be killed.
That’s not a headline for shock — it’s a cry from the heart. Because when food runs out, love alone cannot save lives.

In 2007, Laia Galeano began rescuing animals who had suffered neglect, exploitation, and abuse — determined to give them what every living being deserves:
a life filled with love, safety, and dignity.
Over time, MÓN La Bassa became much more than a refuge.
It became a movement of compassion — where over 400 animals live in peace, never sold, never used, never exploited.
Here, they heal. And in their eyes, we heal too.
Because when you look into the eyes of a donkey named Abril, a pig named Pedro, or a dog named Curro — you recognize something universal:
The same desire to live.
The same right to exist without fear.
The same light that shines in all of us.

Laia and her volunteers remind us that through animals, we touch our most human side — compassion, patience, and responsibility.
The sanctuary even offers programs for personal growth, education, and social change, helping children and adults reconnect with empathy.
